i want to see these! that’s so exciting. i just ordered pocketfolds but we’re making everything else ourselves i just ordered the “shell” because it’s so hard to find the right size paper and how expensive big good quality paper cutters are. Congrats on your bargain!

those are going to come out awesome whe you’re finished. have you thought about embossing your names or a design on them? that would look really good. but yeah our pocket folds and envelopes came out to about a 1.25 per invite (including the pocket fold and colored envelope) and we already have a lot of the other paper at home, but when you compare the final price to having them custom made, it’s extremely cheap

I was just thinking.. I really like the cursive writing up the top, did you try doing a non cursive one of the invite and using a print? Id be interested to see what that looks like! finding fonts these days is crazy!

Hi, I see that you’re using 7×7 envelopes, I just wanted to give you a word of warning about postage–anything over 6.125″ is considered a ‘large envelope’.

Everyone talks about a ‘square’ surcharge (which is 20c), but that is only in effect if its square and UNDER the size limit for a letter.

Anyway, mine (6.5″x6.5″) just ended up costing me $1.05 each to mail, which was a bit of surprise, so I thought I’d pass along my experience.  That was for a 2oz. invite, if yours come in under one ounce (tricky for a wedding invite, but could happen), its $0.88.

Just wanted to give you a heads up.  It’s annoying, but I’m still glad I did squares because I really loved them!
