(Closed) DIY Invites: 80lb or 110lb

    Oh 80 lb will be fine for that. Especially since you want it to fold. It will have the backing to keep it sturdy so I wouln’t worry. Cool idea!

    80 lb is probably better for that. 110 will fold, but it’ll increase the weight and make your invite puffier–hence, more postage.

    I didn’t use either, and I DIYed mine. I used 24lb paper with a backing on a pocketfold. If you want to see what I did, I have them posted on the bee here.

    80 lb Cover would be fine, use the 110 for the ends (but only if they’re letterpressed) you may want to use 100 lb cover if you’re planning on running it thru a printer (110 can be tricky to feed thru some printers).

    I used 130lb paper – big mistake, don’t do what I did!!!!
