cbgmtx: Thanks! that didn’t even occur to me – shows how much I know about glue guns! I just ordered some new clear glue sticks and I’ll see if there’s a difference.
Thanks ladies! Really appreciate all the comments – I’ll keep at it!

2monthweddingplanner: I think they look fine! Try to not use as much glue on the jute one, so you don’t see it sticking out, but otherwise, I think they’ll be good! Remember that your guests aren’t going to be comparing them to an inspiration picture!

Thanks ladies. I decided I just couldn’t get it right on the curved vases and I didn’t want to buy new ones, so I’m decided to go a different direction and a little simpler. But I think they’re still pretty:

2monthweddingplanner: MUCH BETTER!!! Its all because of the curved vases that the first pics werent the way you hoped for.. but the recent ones work with the shape of the vase and turned out awesome

2monthweddingplanner: I think these would be easier if you used non-textured glass. Also, they’ll probably look a lot nicer with flowers in them 🙂

I think your vases look great. If you need to remove glue from glass get a q-tip and some nail polish remover and it will clean up nicely. Then to make it shine, use rubbing alcohol.
