Probably just continuing with my origami flowers, if anything.  We’re going to look at our rings(!!!) on Saturday so that’s the exciting wedding thing of the weekend.

This weekend

* Ribbon Wands

* Decorations for Popcorn Bar

* Arbour decorations

* gift bags

* Centerpieces (hopefully)

* Guest book table

* card table – card box decoration etc.

Thankfully my sisters are doing the DIY aisle decorations for me and the Tears of Joy.

24 days out and i’m kinda freaking that stuff won’t get done, haha.  We have our final meeting at the venue on the 5th and for that we need our Itinerary, Floor plan/seating plan, Loading times dock in/dock out etc.   I HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED THOSE… grrrrrr i want to cry.

Thankfully it’s a four-day weekend:

Finalize music for ceremony musician

Finalize cake design

Finish desiging and find printer for wedding program

Finalize tablescapes and box up materials

Make bunting for the sweets table and the gift table

Start working on ceremony

Finalize photo list

Update wedding worksheet for coordinator and general organization of decor b/c we can start taking stuff to the venue next weekend for storage.

Start washing and ironing 100 white chair covers purchased from former bride

And…new item — I loved the post yesterday about having guests decide who gets cake smashed in their face during the cake cutting.  We’re not doing the financial aspect of it, rather turned it into a DIY project where every guest will get 10 glass beads wrapped in tulle to put in the vase of their choosing…fullest vase gets smothered in cake!

Finding another hall as our venue bailed on us, creating a change of venue/change of hotel thing to send out to everyone.  Buying more stamps, finishing my bouquets and finishing my kissing balls. And celebrating my son’s birthday…

Going to attempt to get Fiance to go with me to finish up our registry and pick out china. Good luck to me – odds are not in my favor!

Lol.  Seriously though, I cannot believe my wedding is next weekend!

So this weekend I will be:

– Retouching the paint on my cake toppers

– Making the groomscake topper

– Painting the frame for the escort cards

– Printing and cutting out the escort cards

– Labeling the placecards (which are already all cut out, thank God!) and the escort cards

– Making the tissue paper backdrop for our photo guest book

– Decorating flower girl baskets

– Stuffing my felt ring pillow and sewing on the ribbon

– Drinking lots of wine (for taste-testing purposes, of course!) 😉
