We don’t have a theme per se, but our colors are blue and gold for our semi-formal, wine country, November wedding. We love to travel, so I’ve been trying to think of ways to incorporate that. I just saw the post-card guestbook idea blog on the Bee, which was awesome. I love getting inspired by you creative ladies. 🙂

I just finished my shoes (they are now glittery blue ballet flats).
This weekend I am:
Meeting with bridal party and seamstress (groomsmen are getting measured for their vests, fi is getting measured for his suit and might go shoe shopping with bm’s).
Drop off oot bm measurements/buy material for dresses and vests.
Still have to but probably not this weekend:
Finish gestbook photo frame (almost done, just need a pic of me and fi to add to it).
Tie ribbon on serving set and have engraved.
Edit and print invitations/inserts/etc
Edit menu cards and figure put program info.
Finish ceremony music list
Send DJ list of reception and special dances songs/music.
Oh and importantly: find and book a ceremony venue!!!!!!

That sounds a good idea. I did that for my bridal shower, it was a Parisian themed shower and I had postcards come directly from Paris and the girls wrote on them. I made a little sign that said: grab a card and a pen and write us an advice, note, cute story or even draw. I had great feedback and it’s nice to read the cards.

Ohhhh how did you make those!!!!?

I’m thinking about making yarn balls to hang around our venue, but no idea where I’m going to do it – I’m assuming it makes a lot of mess! I don’t have any outside space so might just carpet the entire spare room in plastic and do it in there
How many did you make and did it take long?

I have a very crafty friend who is coming over and we’re going to figure out all the paper details that need to be made i.e. favor tags, buffet tags, table numbers, and come up with a plan/design for each 🙂 🙂 This will be a huge relief for me!!

I know… LOL. I am way too lax but I need to book a space this weekend, next week by the latest. Worst case scenarios I book an extra hour at the reception veven and have the ceremony there too.
