I don’t have photos of everything that I did, but here is a photo of my glimmery, shiny champagne glasses!

Im almost done with my cardbox… but in the next two months I need to make/finish:

the cake topper

the place cards

table numbers/menus

ceremony program

decorate the unity candles

print our engagement pictures for large frames to hang in the space

then shop for the tealight/small candles for all the tables

LUCKILY the florist is getting me the supplies to put together the centerpieces the week of the wedding. and the backdrop to our modern wedding is just some dramatic fabric hanging from the ceiling so we’ll be good!

Anyone else in panic mode? I feel like I am.

Well, today was my Friday, so the next few days I’ll be putting together the envelopes so I can mail out our save the dates on Saturday or Monday since they’ll be here on Friday (YAY!). I also need to hot glue about 50 more ft of fake rose petals onto our aisle runner. OI!

@soontobeford:  These are super easy to make! I just searched for tutorials 🙂 I followed this one the closest, using fabric stiffener instead of corn starch. One thing to note – we bought two different types of yarn. The cotton worked, the wool didn’t. So make sure you pay attention to that. Also you NEED to coat the balloon in vaseline/petroleum jelly or something like it. The yarn (especially wool) will stick to the balloon and then when it dries, your work is lost as soon as you pop the balloon. We made that mistake with a few.

@clumsylawyer:  It took us about 6 hours to make 20 of them. Sadly, we lost 5 of them (the big ones) for the reason listed above. It does make a mess! We did it on the kitchen/dining floor, turned on a movie and went to town. We put tons of newspaper on the ground and just piled it on as we needed more from drippage. Made clean up really easy.
