If you diy-ed a lantern centerpiece, I would love to see it! Any information on cost per centerpiece would also be very much appreciated. If I went this route, I would likely buy the lanterns and arrange some kind of loose, natural greenery around it (not sure exactly what yet).
Thanks in advance!

Not married yet so I don’t have photos, but we are doing fall-themed lantern setup, with scattered leaves, etc. We’re using the Borrby lantern from Ikea, super cheap but nicely made! It comes in 2 sizes as well
With flameless candles, leaves, and random flowers, we probably spent around $15/table. I’m sure you can find ideas for the greenery on Pinterest, but maybe some other bees have an idea of what that kind of stuff would cost. good luck!

Can I ask how you got the glass out of these lanterns? I am looking at the same ones for centerpieces. Yours look so amazing!

Inside the lantern there are flimsy metal tabs that you can easily bend back to remove the glass.

Since they are from Ikea, we had to put them together ourselves. The glass is held on my little clips. We just bent them up and the glass just slides right out. I recommend doing it before assembling as it makes it a bit easier. Good luck!

So funny enough! I have bought the lanterns from IKEA for my centre pieces too! I want them to look like this but with my IKEA lanterns and purple flowers.

I just made my mock ups!
Obviously the “4” will be prettier. There will be baby’s breath and dried lavander in the green vases. There are two different lanterns, and four different picture frames for the table numbers. I also have string lights around the candle that you can see at night. I still need a bottom to it all, like a mirror or circle of wood.
All lit up.
