After seeing a picture online I decided that I had to have lantern centerpieces. I knew I wanted something with candles and, well, flowers just aren’t my thing. My inspiration pic is below.

So glue gun in hand I gathered my supplies and got to work. I knew I wanted rocks, leaves, sticks, and of course my lanterns. I needed the lanterns to be raised up so I bought a piece of 6″ X 6″ square post and about 8 feet long from Home Depot. My excellent fiance cut it up into 4″ sections for me.
Next was the easy part, I hot glued the piece of wood to a candle charger that I found at Michaels. Once firmly in place I layered in my wood, rocks, and leaves around the center piece of wood. When I liked the look I hot glued that in place as well.
Once this was complete all that was left was to put my lantern on the top!
What do you guys think?
