You look beautiful, and you have amazing cheekbones. I’d buy some bronzer and highlight to make those babies pop. It’ll light up your eyes, too. The only criticism is that your skin is so porcelin, that you look a little powdery with the flash (I have the exact same problem). Bronzer and highlighter will help there, too. There are great instructional videos on YouTube to make sure you apply it correctly.

@AJWH1027:  This.  And the powdery makes you look pale… like Twilight pale.  Love the eyes & the lips!  Looks awesome!

@Lovemelovemyhorses:  Hahaha, that’s funny!  It’s challenging to find the right hue — I DIY my makeup too.  I generally don’t wear a lot though, but it was still a pain in the ass!

You’re a knockout!

I have to agree with the the previous poster:  the base layer seems too light in the pictures compared to your neck.  I think you need a slightly warmer/deeper foundation and powder?

Congratulations!

You do look very pale. Go for a matte finish which is best for photographing.  You’ll need some color to your cheeks to bring out your cheek bones and add definition

lol yup thought so. stick with ones that dont have it in as light will bounce off with flash and make u appear pale faced. also stay clear from makeup forever powder as that has the same effect. I use clinique armani or laurer mercier foundations. all look get on camera and have buildable coverage.X

I would recommend using eyebrow powder and gel. It will give a more natural look as it blends with your hair better without giving the drawn in effect from a pencil.

Other than that everyone else has pretty much covered it. It looks great, just steer clear of spf foundations for the day.

I recommend against bronzer. I don’t understand the point of it at all, especially for pale girls. You need a bright blush on the apples of your cheeks.

As for foundation with SPF, I talked to my photographer about this before our e-session because my foundation has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in it, and she said she’d never heard that, nor encountered it as a problem before. Pro photographers use flash diffusers and that should not create the same look in these photos.

It looks really great!  I definitely agree with accentuating those cheekbones πŸ™‚  I really didn’t want to do it, but my sister (who did my makeup) put a bright pink on my cheeks for my wedding and I’m so glad that she did!  It definitely made a huge difference in our pictures!  And your eyeshadow looks really pretty – the only suggestion I would make is to maybe take the darker color up just a little more.  I went much darker than normal on my eyes, and it showed up really beautifully in our pictures.  Just keep playing around with different ideas and you’ll figure out the right combination of products.  It’s looking awesome so far!

@vorpalette:  It depends how you use the bronzer. The purpose of bronzer is to add an overall glow and to define your face without actually putting it all over your face. It is used to contour and give depth to your cheekbones also and you can get lighter shades for various skin tones.
