it will go perfect with your red dress. you have beautiful big eyes which your eyeliner draws attention to. i would try your dress on so you can see the whole look and that might change your mind

I think the makeup looks great! It’s perfect for a rockabilly look. The only thing I might add, since you’re feeling meh about it, is a little bit of highlighting. You did a nice job with the bronzer or blush under your cheekbones to create highlights – I’d continue that in sort of a C shape up onto the edges of your forehead and then I would add some lighter color highlights on the apples of your cheeks and brow bone. That’s just me though – there are some great videos on highlighting on Youtube?

Have you considered getting a small wax/threading on your eyebrows? I know it isn’t for everyone, but I think adding a small arch and narrowing them a bit would look really fantastic on you.

I think you look lovely but it sounds like you are looking for suggestions ๐Ÿ™‚

I think you have done a great job but for the sake of pics I think a little more blush and more liner on the bottom.

@weddingbound:  I agree.

OP, you look beautiful! I love the classic winged eyeliner and a brighter lip. But for photos, I think some more blush would help warm up your face. It’s kind of like theatre (although not as far out): sometimes you have to exaggerate it just a bit in order for it to show up in a photo. Again, beautiful, though.

Your face looks longer in the second batch of photos because you are holding the camera at a higher angle and you’re tilting your chin down.

I love what you’ve done! And as PP said, I thing the slightly longer face has more to do with angle than makeup ^^ (you still have a lovely face though!)

Photos can wash people out so you might need to bear that in mind on the day when it comes to bronzer/foundation, if you are feeling pasty now.

Best of luck! <3

@Adams_bee:  I would also do a soft pale colored eye shadow on the lid before u apply the black eye liner.  this would add a bit of glam i hte photo.  at the moment it doesnt looked polished or ‘finished’ in the photo.

If you look at this photo there is a really pale goldish/bronze tone on the lideye

If you already have on shadow maybe you need to apply more or change the color.

Also agree with PP more blush!! u have to exaggerate the make up for it to really show in pic!

I think you look beautiful and glamorous. I think you could use more blush and contouring, though.

Firstly, you need more blush. Secondly, if you use either bronzer or a brownish blush to get the top of your forehead, it will make your face look less long. I love the eyes/lips – they are perfect as they are!

If I was you, I would do a dark brown liner instead of black, it looks too harsh with your brown eyes and brown hair. Also, I would color in and arch your eyebrows a bit! Else than that you look great!

You look great! I would add a bit of contour (if you’re good at it) and a bit more blush. I agree that you need lashes to make your eyes pop.

@Adams_bee:  For red lips, NYC Ultra Moist Lip Wear in Sheer Red is really pretty and a steal for less than a dollar, Milani Red Label, Rimmel 111 and 107 (from Kate Moss line) and Revlon Colorburst in Crimson. All are gorgeous and amazing! Links posted so you can see them swatched. (:
