I’m unsure if it is just the picture but the shadow seems to be a bit too light for the liquid eyeliner.

I like it alot! I think the only thing that’s missing is eyeliner/mascara under the eye, but that may just be my taste.

To me, you did a GREAT job with the liquid liner!! I never could get the hang of that stuff so I just stopped trying and use penciled.

I think brown eyeliner + mascara might go well if you’re wanting to keep the eyeshadow light/neutral. If that’s the case, I’d go with more of a purple undertone in the red family for your lips. If you want the “true” red, I’d stick with black eyeliner/mascara.

For me, I think what’s throwing it off is your lashes look a little clumpy. Do you have an eyelash brush to just quickly run through ’em? I think if they were fanned a bit, it would have a much softer appearance. Great length, too. Super jealous!

I agree, definitely darken the eye shadow or lighten the eyeliner.  I also agree, you should brush your eyelashes to declump them.  🙂

You have great eyelashes! I like you lipstick too.

When you do the shadow there needs to be some contrast between the lid and crease. Usually, when you use one color you go light on the first third of the eye (from the tear duct) then gradually apply the shadow heavier towards the corner. A darker color should go in the crease.

I know this sounds crazy and you will feel crazy but usually makeup needs to be applied 2-3x heavier for it to translate into photos.

If you are lookg for neutral palettes I suggest the Urban Decay Naked (on the high end), the ELF Neutral Eye Edition or Physcian’s Formula Nude palette (cheaper end).

wow you have huge, gorgeous eyes! Love your lashes and liner but I think that maybe you should darken your eye shadow. It still seems rather light.

Beautiful though!

I think it looks good… liquid eyeliner especially.  But I agree that you need to go heavier/darker on the eyeshadow especially near the crease and on the outer edge of the eye.
