I’m pretty pale. MAC NC 15 was too dark for me. I’m currently using Bobbi Brown concealer and foundation in their lightest shade and I’m leaning towards liking it.

Careful of shimmer in photos. Don’t use SPF. Use a good primer. Even if you have great skin, something like Smashbox Photo Finishwill make your foundation even better.

Is that the only thing you’re unsure of? The concealer?

I’m really pale, like you describe.  Natural blonde/strawberry blonde and my skin tends towards the pink side.

I wear Sephora 10 (Clair Light) powder on a daily basis, if that gives you an idea of my skin tone.

I swear by Benefit’s Erase Paste in #1 as a concealer.  The peachy tone cancels even the darkest circles and brightens my undereye.  Apply sparingly with a brush and set with powder and I’m fresh & bright even after all-nighters.

I’m doing my own making as well. I really, really reccomend watching a few YouTube videos about wedding makeup. I especially reccomend Beauty Broadcast and her blog, too.

Here are some of the products that I love and use. (I have severe scaring from acne, dry skin, fiarly pale, lots of discoloration.)

Primer: Smashbox Photo Ready Primer or Hourglass primer

Foundation: Make Up Forever HD foundation (A drug store option is the Revlon Color Stay)

Concealer: Orgins Quick Hide concealer (or Laura Mercier, or Makeup Forever, or Hourglass, or Bare Minerals, or Bobbi Brown, or MAC, it just depends. They’re all good. My favorite drugstore would be the Covergirl Simply Ageless or the Revlon Photo Ready.)

Powder:Smashbox Halo powder

Setting: Urban Decay Up All Night setting spray

Eye Primer: Too Faced shadow insurance eye primer

Eye Shadow: Urband Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow pallet

Eye Liner: Stila Long Wear (Lionfish is a really pretty color alternative to black)

Blush: Tarte Amazonia Clay blush

Bronzer: NYC Sunny bronzer- it’s cheap and awesome

Mascara: Tarte Lights Camera Splashes mascara or Benefit’s They’re Real mascara.

Ok, keep in mind, I did not buy all of these products at once. Most of them are high end products and I spent YEARS researching and buying just one thing at a time. Investing that much money into make up may or may not be worth it to you. I’m highly insecure about my scarring, so it’s worth it to me, just in VERY small doses.

Just remember to prime everything, set everything, waterproof everything, and long-wear everything.
