Honest opinions please on my trial i did at home today. The only change i know i would be making for sure is adding false lashes, but i didnt want to waste them. This is a really bronzed look. I think i will also do a trial with some cooler purples and blacks. Any suggestions would be appriciated 🙂 The first two were taken in natural light and the last one in artifical light
my and my Fiance 🙂 (Different lighting)

I really like it! Very natural and beautiful. My only suggestion would be to try out some fake lashes. It’s hard to see your lashes in some of the pictures, and I think a set of falsies could give your eyes some nice dramatic pop. I don’t think you need a set that’s too full or over-the-top – just something nice and natural to fill out your real lashes a little bit. 🙂

I think it looks awesome, but it doesn’t really looked bronzed at all–probably due to the lighting. Maybe if you were outside we’d see the bronze. 🙂

Beautiful! Jealous…I don’t have that talent. One suggestion, maybe a little white in the corners of your eye (by your nose) and under the brow. I love that look!

@ roe – yeah the bronze doesnt translate as much into the pictures as i thought it would. I actually almost exclusivley used MAc golden and MAC Bronze eye shadow so in person it is a lot more dramatic than it is in the pics.
Thanks for the suggestion! I will give that a try next time i do it. I plan to practice over and over again before the day of to make sure i dont freak out on the day of…

very nice. your brows are perfect. do you do them yourself?
i would like to see the false eyelashes too. your eyes will just pop.
tip: look on-line for some contouring and highlighting tips for chin, nose & forehead. use an article that will be relevant to your face & nose shape. if you are having a lot of pictures, it will be worth the effort.
as i mentioned to one of the other make-up trial bees today, make sure your make-up colours match your flowers and accent colours at the wedding. if not, they will clash in pictures.

I think it looks great! I think the bronze is soft but still adds a good amount of pop to the look. It really makes your eyes stand out. I agree that with some false lashes your eyes will pop even more. I’m not a fan of a full strip of lashes (at least on me) – I either trim it about in half or more commonly use the small clumps of lashes. Then I trim the clumps so that they’re longer than my lashes but not crazy long. Then I place a few at the outer corner of my eyes and one or two at the outer 1/3 or middle.
