I cannot recommend Urban Decay Primer Potion enough. It’s the only eyeshadow primer I’ve used that completely stops my eye makeup from creasing and melting.

And I really love Revlon ColorStay Overtime. Lasts all day, doesn’t smudge or transfer at all. Darling Husband has kissed me within seconds of me putting it on and the stuff seriously doesn’t budge…which is good, because he’d look terrible in that shade of red 😉

I got the Urban bride kit from urban decay. It has the setting spray, eye primer, mascara, lip junkie lip gloss, some kind of powder and then a marshmallow powder for later on. 🙂 I got it at Ulta and I wanted it for the eye primer and setting spray, both have which helped me keep my makeup on longer!

You might want to try the L’oreal HiP gel liner in a pot.  You would have to buy an eyeliner brush (the one included is pretty crappy), but it has a lot of staying power.  I’ve napped a few hours with it on, and it barely budged.

It really depends on your skin type… If you have combo or oily skin, try a primer (Smashbox primer is great) with a long-lasting foundation, powder and then All Nighter spray.

If your skin is dry, I don’t recommend these products (or at least not all of them together).  They tend to be drying and it can make excess product cling to dry spots and look patchy.  It looks like your makeup is just wearing off, but it’s actually from the dryness.  I have this issue, and I find that a moisturizing foundation and a moisturizing setting spray (like MAC Fix+) will last longer and look better throughout the day.

I’m going to just plan on touching up once before the reception, though.  I think it’s kind of unrealistic to expect makeup to last and look perfect through 12+ hours of sweat and tears!
