Today I finished my invites! (I know, I know, a little early as I wont send them out until March 1st)
No, I didn’t tie any ribbon, take any photos, write, stamp or draw anything, or even design them unless you count picking out the design online and clicking on it. Yet I felt that I DIYed so much today-I licked the envelopes, stuck stamps, and pulled envelopes out of the jammed printer.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I will bow down to all DIY-ers out there and have the utmost respect! I even love to scrapbook but with exactly 4 months today, I’m gett a little dizzy headed about doing anything wedding related….
This invitation task was probably the most tedious (and yes, after a while I stopped caring if grandma and grandpa’s envelope MAY have a smudge on it, hope I’m not going to hell for that but they can barely see) unless you count the origami favors that my son (NOT ME) will make as soon as the 1,200 sheets of origami paper arrive. Actually, I do have a part in this, I have to make a little tag (typed in Word, of course) to attach to the origami piece with our names, the date, and a short poem….Now THAT’S a DIY project. Sighhhhhh……..Any other un-DIYers out there?
