I think your menus are really pretty but I also agree that the opening is just way too much.

If you want to thank your guests I think you need to keep it short and sweet.

I like the design of the Menu’s, however the wording at the top is throwing me off a little. It seems rather wordy. Maybe… “And now we invite you to relax and pull up a chair as we proudly present you with dinner”

Also, I agree with the bigger font for “Menu”

I would make the “or” between the dinner options and the ” and” between the dessert options the same size. It seems off.

Hope this helps!

ETA: I just read all of the above comments! I dig the theme! However, I would make it more apparent. If guest are not aware of where the quote came from, it seems odd.

After the word “relax”, there should be a period since that sentence has ended, not a comma. The following sentence doesn’t doesn’t make sense (it makes it seem like you’re either pulling up a chair yourself to some event, or you’re pulling up a chair for the guests but didn’t communicate it properly). It should read “Pull up a chair…” etc since that’s what you’re inviting the guests to do.

Could you include a classy, Beauty & the Beast centerpiece at one of the tables or all of them so people will understand the reference? Like this?

I’m not a Disney fan, so didn’t get the reference.  The top intro seemed strange to me, but you know your guests. Maybe it will be obvious to them.

I think the quote at the top is super cute. I’m a huge Disney fan, so I immediately got the reference. If you wanted to add a little something to make it more obvious it’s from Beauty and the Beast, I’d add silhouettes of Belle and the Beast at the very top above the word menu (hiding underneath the flowers).

I’d also make the word “Menu” a little bigger font.
