Love this idea! Where are you all buying your mirrors from. Looking to do this idea also but want to stay fairly inexpensive

Here is ours. We used a white chalk marker. My venue had the perfect huge mirror for me to use. My mom is an artist and did the enitre thing by hand!! It came out so perfect!!! I didn’t get a good picture of it hung up at the venue.. it was kind of dark for a picture but it worked great with the white chalk.. you could see it really good!

This is the best pic I could get from the venue

windowlulu:  yes ma’am! Its just a sharpie paint pen in gold. Make sure to get the oil based one… It’s designed for glass. ๐Ÿ™‚

@libertybelle88 I made an account just to reply to this thread, lol.

Awhile ago I wanted to copy some gorgeous writing onto some wood and couldn’t think of how to do it, and I read a brilliant suggestion online that worked perfectly. Just print what you want on regular paper, and then use your sharpie marker or anything (I used pastels) on the BACK of the paper. It should leave a faint imprint of the text onto your mirror, and then you can go back over it with the marker to fill in.

In my case I just covered the entire back of the paper in pastels, taped it to my wood, and used a pencil to outline the letters. Then I just pulled it off and painted right over top of the pastel. It looks like I have amazing handwriting, lol.
