Fiance and I decided we wanted a colored aisle runner, instead of the plain white, so I bought a GORGEOUS hot pink runner off of Etsy. I was wanting to put some kind of monogram on it, but it’s not transparent at ALL. I don’t have a projector or anything, so how in the world would I do this? Some type of transfer paper? Anyone do this or have any ideas?

Can you sew at all? What about a piece of fabric, that you cut out in the shape of your monogram and then sew/attach to the runner? (Or is your difficulty actually getting a large monogram?) You could print off a very large version of your monogram (might need to go to a copy store,) and then trace around it, either on the runner yourself, or else on whatever other medium you decide to make the monogram out of.

@red_rose: I totally thought of that over the weekend, but our monogram is really intricate/delicate and also quite large. FI is trying to think of a way to make a large stencil, but other than that, I don’t know what to do!
