Well, I had full intentions of DIY’ing my invites. I found a kit at a store that is similar to Big Lots for the bargain price of $4.99 for 50 (I know, crazy, right!?) They are just plain white cards with two holes punched in the top to weave some ribbon thru, plus the reception cards, response cards, etc.
Anyway, I haven’t even begun them yet. I wanted to change out the ribbon for a colored one to coordinate, which is easy enough. But, I haven’t even started laying out the wording….nothing.
So, now I’m considering just doing really simple, single card invites from Vista Print. I really don’t need the reception card or response cards or anything, because we’re honestly only going to send out 15 – 20 total invites for our 30 – 35 person wedding.
My big hang-up is that it’s going to cost me a minimum of $50 for this. Do I just chalk it up to money well spent to avoid stressing, since I have to get the invites out asap anyway? Or should I get my butt in gear this weekend & get the ones done that I have already?
