    I think if that is your only option that is what you have to go with.

    I agree that having a nice tent around them would help (maybe with a table with extra hand sanitizer, a nice mirror, etc)

    Are there any special situations in guests to think about?  Elderly with walkers?  Parents that need changing stations?

    I’m back and forth on this one. We had to rent one port-a-potty as per our contract with the venue (they were on a septic system), but honestly, we hid it and I don’t know if anyone actually used it. I think the trailers are the best option, but I can see your hesitation with the cost and infrastructure needed. I think putting the portapotties in a seperate tent is as good as you can make it, although if I were in a nice dress and heels I don’t think I would love it, but I would make due and it really wouldn’t change my opinion of whether or not I had a good time.

    I’ve been to a wedding with porta-potties and I have to say I and the rest of the guest hated it. Its really gross to go in there in your nice clothes. I think spending the extra money on the trailers is worth it for your guests.

    We are thinking this may be our best option too. I understand people misgivings – and I had them too until I started researching them. They make nice ones now that are not the porta-potties that you see normally. They flush regularly & come with real sinks. I think we were quoted $360 for 2 of them.

    Amazingly our quotes also included delivery & setup too! I was amazed at how inexpensive they were. Our location is also 1 hour from the nearest big city. You may be able to find a better price so it’s good you’re still looking 🙂 Good luck & I am glad someone else brought this up, I thought I was the only one!

    @Alip22:  I would totally use that portapotty…

    I think there is part of attending a wedding in a field that one has to expect.

    1. there will be mud

    2. there will probably be portapottys…

    As a guest I would not love it but I would be fine with it, especially if you decorated them all cute.
