I live in Long Island and had a scheduled vacation for the entire week. Before the impending Hurricane, I had plans to go to Martha’s Vineyard. Sadly, we had to cancel all of these plans. Luckily, I made a big shopping trip to Joann’s just a few hours before they enacted a driving ban in my area. I have taken on so many crafting projects over the past few days just out of sheer boredom and now I can’t stop! I still have 6 days of vacation…I can only imagine what I’ll get into during that time. Believe me, I’ve tried taking breaks – but the storm clean up just takes a while. I’ve gone for many long walks, but any idle time has been spent just…crafting…I had no idea I had this in me!
Take a look at what I’ve done over the past 3 days.
Button Bouttonaire’s – 2 for Groom, Best Man and for both Dad’s.
Satin Flowers – not entirely sure what I’m going to do with these…I might do something for the flower girls hair with these.
Kusudama flowers – I am considering using these as a part of the table centerpieces, I’m just not entirely sure that they will work.
Purple Kusudama flowers – no clue what to do with these. I used purple paper just because I was sick of doing yellow projects.
I’ve also mounted and wrapped about 60 brooches that I’m using for a brooch bouquet. Tried to upload the photo, but I must be at my limit for now. I’ll add that later on.
What do you think? Any other ideas for projects to tackle??
