I did a tinting fail on some glass bowls. I prefer the painted mason jars it looks “cleaner”.They are different shades of blue too though…

You may need to check that you can still put water in the acrylic painted jars.  I think the paint may blister or bubble.  They look lovely though.  Maybe they need a coat of varnish too?  We are making our own mercury glass but doing it on the outside for the same reason.

@BeeRod527:  No I don’t think so.  You can try painting another shape of glass conatiner.  I think the dark blue looks very nice.  It would be pretty painted inside something that looks like cut crystal (even if its not real crystal).  I like it the way it is too though.

I’m painting all of my mason jars tiffany blue for centerpieces. So far I’ve done 40 and love them! I’m putting hydrangeas and peonies in them.
