Has anyone made paper flowers before? I’ve looked on here & online and it looks *fairly* easy. I like the DIY aspect, as well as being able to use them after the wedding. Would it be insane to make ALL of the flowers for my wedding? 6 small Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, my bouquet, and a flowers for the tables (not too many)?
I’m planning on doing some other DIY stuff (little banners/flags and stuff). I have 4 months til the big day…

I am just starting the process of making my own paper flowers. [6 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, my bouquet & centerpieces]. I’ve been saving a bunch of tutorials on my Pinterest if you want to check them out: http://pinterest.com/alliemae/paper-flowers/ Here’s my first attempt

I decided to try flowers made of ribbon. I got some floral vendor quotes, and decided this would be one more DIY project! I love DIY stuff! I tried some this weekend, and I got them to work. Our wedding is 9 months away, and I love the idea of being ahead of schedule! I picked up some rolls of ribbon at Micheals, and different types of fabrics make very different flowers even if you do them all the same way. Just make sure they have wires in them. We are not using flowers in our centrepieces, so I am making all the flowers for our wedding since it’s just the bouquets, boutineeres, corsages and a few pew flowers. If you want to see them, or instructions on how to do the ones I did (very easy, did 20 in less than an hour), let me know.

@BrendatobeTownson: I would love to see what you have done, I keep going back and forth between real flowers and DIY ones.
