You can do at home chemical glass etching. I am not exactly sure of the process, but I’m sure if you go to AC Moore or some other crAt store they will kits there. If all else fails, try ETSY.

Michaels has some DIY Etching supplies. Super easy to do. But yours might look better and not be so noticeable once sand is in it. It’s transparent now, so of course you can see the outline. Trying putting something in it to see if that helps.

Okay, so I was cruising around Pinterest today, and saw this. It seems like this might work better than the Rub-Onz. I don’t have ANY experience with this product, but if it’s dishwasher safe then it sounds pretty durable! Plus, it looks super clear in the photos! Good luck!

Could you print it on a clear sticker and then apply it? You would still see the edge, but it likely wouldn’t be cloudy.
