I am looking into creating a few coffee table photo books (one of our wedding pictures and one of other pictures I have taken) but I am so overwhelemed by the companies out there. So far I know of shutterfly, snapfish.
Does anyone have any DIY photo book recommendations? I am looking for one that has some customization to it and easy to use software and isn’t crazy expensive.

In case you have already found it, here is the best blog EVER on photobooks: http://www.photobookgirl.com/
She’s got reviews of every major company on their software, photo quality, and book quality with a lot of photos of the books. She also has a few tutorials on photobook making that are pretty cool if you’re struggling with layouts and backgrounds.
I DIY-ed my album with photobook america and I absolutely loved how it turned out. The software was also very easy to use and had a lot more options than other companies. I also had a coffee table book from Mixbook and it turned out pretty nice, but the pages are not as high quality.

I suggest Adoramapix. Best bang for your buck imo. I love that lay flat pages come standard.
Here is a great review of basically every photobook company: http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/f258/great-photo-book-round-up-review-who-makes-best-photo-books-97676.html

We’re using Mixbook because we got the 70% groupon for it. We were considering Apple (iPhoto), though, but ended up not being able to customize the book as much as I wanted.
I’ve heard REALLY good things about Photobook America/Canada, BUT they’re SO expensive. : /
