Bumping for you because I’m also curious!

I know our photographer is bringing an extra camera and setting it up with his ipad so we’ll get pics emailed to us… but as for the booth itself, no clue!

I don’t consider myself a DIY bride but our photobooth is kinda DIY — I’m not talented so I bought props (but you could easily make them) then the space is going to be where our ceremony was because it will have a fabric backdrop that we rented and then during the reception when we no longer need 2 photogs on us at all times we’re having 1 take the pics at the photobooth.

I’ve also seen cute posts on Pinterest where people hang a large frame for people to stand behind. 🙂

@mchitt329:  I like the idea of using the ceremony space!  Might have to see whether this could be a possibility, although it’d have to be a DIY thing as we won’t have a spare shooter floating around Smile

We did make ours. I will tell you, it is an investment. We had a booth (piping, curtains), the computer, and you need a monitor of some sort. We got a touch screen one because we knew we would be re-using it. He also got a cabinet to store it in and protect it. All in all it cost about as much (maybe slightly more or less, depending on where you go) as it would have cost to rent one. If you don’t feel like putting in a lot of effort just rent one; you also have to monitor the paper so that you don’t run out and most places that you rent from will keep track of that.

There are simpler and more cost-effective ways to do this, like a faux-to booth, where a photographer will take pictures in front of a background, but it depends on what you are looking for.
