- Wedding: October 2012
I wanted a photobooth at my wedding but when I started to price them out it was way over budget and in the low end packages they were only there for about 3 hours, just the time guests want to grab a drink and eat dinner. I set out to build one, my grand idea was to use an iPad with a photobooth app connected to a printer but that all is harder to find than expected. I had seen booths made out of PVC but then realized that I owned metro sheving rack and with a few extenders (more $ than originally thought based on extra for stability) Curtians and hooks from Ikea, siding from Lowes, David Cliens photo booth automator and a photo printer from craigslist. It worked well but I never was able to get it to print quite how I wanted, it also broke once in the night , I was the only one who knew how to fix it.
My reccomendation: pay someone to do this, it was more of a pain than Im making it sound.
