There was an app that costs like 99 dollars that collects all the pictures so you don’t have to go around searching.  I don’t remember what is called but maybe you could look into that?

Otherwise I would designate someone to do this like they do in all the movies I’ve ever seen involving a prom.  (I never went to prom, so not sure if they actually do that or not.)

I thought about doing a camera + tripod + self timer too, but thought better of it later.

True, the self timer gives the ‘rushed, gotta get into position!’ look that photo-booths are great for, but I just didn’t think I wanted a bunch of possibly champagne-happy guests fondling my Future In-Laws camera. I was afraid of someone accidently knocking it over, or accidently breaking it or what have you.. so I feel having an ‘attendant’ is a much better idea.

Both of us have worked in the restaurant industry, and there’s always poor college waiters trying to make an extra buck – We’re gonna ask some of our ex (trustworthy!) co-workers to man the camera for the night for a little cash and free booze πŸ™‚

We are gonna get a handheld button to attach to the camera. Fiance says it’s not too expensive. We will probably have to later post pics or e-mail them to everyone instead of printing on site. That would get crazy.

@UJSMCWG06:  He says it’s called a remote shutter and we are going to get ours from amazon.
