For our DIY photobooth my plan is to set up my DSLR camera on a tripod facing the photo area and then buy a camera remote with instructions on how to use it. That way everyone can get in poses and just click away! I’ll either upload the photos later or will buy a little quick photo printer that will print them as mementos.

I did what PP did. I didn’t include instructions, though. I knew my guests would figure it out. We already had a DLSR, and borrowed the tripod and remote. I didnt realize until the day of the rehearsal that our DLSR wouldnt be compatible, but a family member lent theirs and then hosted the pics online for us to share with our guests. Worked out perfectly and best part is the pics are high quality so they can be printed, etc.  You can rent cameras & other equip online if you dont want to invest or have anyone to borrow from

Do you have an iPad? I put mine on a special mount/tripod and downloaded a photobooth app. People were able to send the pictures to themselves too, plus we got a copy of all of them on the iPad 🙂

We plan on using a tablet, mount, and photobooth app.

dearjohnbride :  we used Simple Booth Event Edition. It was a bit pricy, but worked like a dream the whole night.
