We are rocking out the paper projects for our end of August 2-day wedding and hope to be completely finish by the end of this weekend.
The poem is to be included in our welcome baskets (which are pretty huge and include snack items, drinks and info about the island we are getting married on) The poem is being read by my girlfriend during our ceremony so we thought it would be a good way to build some reference.
The place cards are …ummm … the place cards! They will be on our guest’s plates and all include their name and their relationship to us.

Very charming! I wish the photo was a bit bigger: I’d love to read the poem but my screen is making it hard on the eyes…

@MrsRugbee: It’s I carry your heart by e.e cummings.
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
