I am in the middle of an invitation nightmare and could totally use your help!
I bought flat invitation cards from Wedding Paper Divas, and the color pockets I wanted from cards and pockets. I assembled all 75 of our invitations and used the rolly tape (similar to the dots) to affix the flat card to the pocket. I didn’t test one out before hand like I should have, and now I am realizing that part of the invitations are starting to lift up! Even after I press down on them and rub them to reattach, they end up lifting up. I don’t want the invitations to look cheap or poorly assembled, and I’m afraid that over a short period of time they would lift up. So I’m going to reattach all of the flat cards to the pockets with another type of adhesive. It sucks, but it is what is is and I don’t want to worry about the invitations coming undone.
I am thinking that some sort of glue option would be best? I don’t trust the dots since the rolly tape didn’t work and it is the same type of material. Does anyone have any suggestions from personal experience? I want these suckers to stick and not lift up!
Thanks in advance for your help!
