Those are gorgeous! I wanted something similar for our reception tables but had no idea how to go about accomplishing anything.

I hope you don’t hate me…but I’m not keen on the pearls. The flowers are beyond gorgeos. But I can’t shake that “tacky” feeling I get from the string of pearls. Maybe some green in there somewhere? Foliage of some sort; leaves or something whimsical draping down, or around the pole?

How did you cut your dowel rods in half? Meaning you had a 12 in rod and you cut it in half- vertically…because your instructions said that you put 1 in the middle of the styrofoam ball and glued the remaining 6 on the outside and the only way I see that working is if they are flat..Correct?

This is what Ive made so far- just missing the crystals hanging down and led light is not on…but im struggling with keeping the ball on..PLEASE HELP 🙂

@dee_anti-bryde:  I’ve been watching Save-on-crafts.com as well…What size vase did you use? I purchased an 18in white eiffel vase from Hobby lobby( also with a 50% off coupon for close to $6)…and I had been trying to a 6in foam ball as well…I really had my heart set on real carnations..and I was going to use White/Ivory with blue and yellow accents. I think I may be switching to silks…My only problem is my wedding is May 25th…flowers are soo beautiful then, I feel lame using silks..ugh
