I would not do a DIY prenup.  The point of a pre-nup is to have something that can’t be “argued” to be found void if things go differently than planned in your relationship.  Typically in a pre-nup EACH party should have independent legal counsel to ensure they are each benefitting from the pre-nup.  I would think lack of unbiased representation and legal counsel would be the first thing the other party would bring up if they wanted to fight the pre-nup down the line.

This is NOT an area I would attempt to save a couple thousand dollars on.  Pay the money for 2 lawyers who have experience with pre-nups and ensure that both you and your partner and protected and beneift from the document.
