Yep! Just make sure the lines and cuts are perfect!

Yep! But you should make a couple changes, like fonts, and make the cuts straight!

    Nope, they look cheap.

    Other-please explain!

I would just use better quality paper and I’d center the wording.

This second draft looks so much better (and the first draft was already pretty darn cute!).  You’re definitely on the right track!

    YES! definitely better!

we are also doing a handfasting and would love to explain the proceedings as well as give mentions and thank yous… but I can’t get over the fact that it’s a lots of work, and paper, that will all just go into the recycling bin!

yours look nice though, and now I’m swaying back towards wanting them…

I like the second draft, but I liked the two tone paper. also I like the idea of a ribbon more unless your wedding is more rustic/crafty

The revised version is much more sophisticated!

Second version looks much nicer! I would see if you can make the font a bit bigger as you have a bit of white space you can use.

I like the white against the colored cardstock (it looks yellow on my monitor, is that right?, but I would consider using photo corners to make the edges of the paper look crisper and to add some dimmension—OR do like pp said and cut diagonal slits into the cardstock to do the same.  If you have access to one, cut the paper with a paper cutter (they have them in the DIY copying section of Staples and Office Max).

Try a crisper font if you stick with try #1.

Love try #2, as well though.  Would use a slightly bigger font.

    Too cute!
