So the Fiance and I finally decided on our escort cards! This was our inspiration:

We’re going to buy red poker chips, drill small holes in them, write the name and table number in the center and then pin them to a board. We were even thinking about making the board look like a craps table or a roulette table so the chips will look like bets but we’ll see!
What do you guys think? Too overly ambitious? Any tips?
(we’re getting married in Vegas so I’m trying to add little Vegas-y details)

Is this a Vegas/casino themed wedding? Is there a reason for a poker chips? If so, I think this is a SUPER cute idea!

This is very fun. As mentioned above, if its a Destination Wedding to Vegas, it would be perfect for the setting.

I would probably skip drilling them with holes and stick them to a board with some sort of adhesive. I think drilling the holes will make you nuts.
I would also look into round labels that you can print for a more polished look.

Definitely give this a try early – I’m not sure what chips are made of, but they might not drill well? But it’s a cool idea, I like it!

@louisianablue: Thanks for the tip on using an adhesive instead, we might look into it if all else fails. My Fiance actually volunteered to help me drill the holes at his work and I think it’d help him feel like he’s contributing a bit. 🙂
I personally like the look of handwritten escort cards. I looked into getting personalized labels but wasn’t diggin’ the look:
