Has anyone been tackling making one or made one? I would love to know some input on these because I would love to use my mothers wedding gown to make some of the flowers although I will likely dye the fabric once we decide on our colours.

I made some. They’re not hard to make and they’re actually pretty cute. I think I am not going to use them for my bouquet though. That had been my original plan, but I’m trying out different options.
It only takes some 1.5″ satin ribbon for the petals, 3/8″ ribbon for the middle, hot glue, and whatever you want to use for stems. You could get some ribbon at the dollar store to try one out.

@sugar magnolia: Thanks for the pictures these look really nice. There is a ribbon flower making book called The Artful Ribbon that someone recommended but it seems that they are all flowers that are meant to be laid flat for embroidery. I am not sure if it will also work for bouquet or not. I don’t want just roses so I may be considering taking on a huge project without realizing that I am.
