I keep seeing everyone else’s DIY projects, so I thought that I would share one of mine! Here is our Save the Date! I actually got an amazing suggestion from my fiance’s sister, saying that instead of Save the Date, Save Our Date sounds more personable. So that’s what we used.
I designed this as a powerpoint slide, and then uploaded it to VistaPrint (which I love!!) and printed these onto postcards, (100 for free, just had to pay shipping!)
Let me know what you think, I’m sending these out mid March I think.

@MsBrewer: I really like it! My only suggestion would be to put the city, state on it. Unless 100% of your guests are “in town” it might eliminate some confusion.

@KatNYC2011: Well I thought about that, and all of my family and friends are in town, and all of my fiance’s family all live out of town and they know that the wedding is going to be in our hometown. So I’m not too worried about the confusion.
Great suggestion though!

@elliestan:Honestly, I couldn’t have been more pleased! The only negative thing that I can think of is that I had to trim like 1/4″ off the edges, which took me I think 30 minutes total for 100 of them.
I chose the slow shipping, I think 3 weeks, and I got them in 2, and yea the quality is awesome, very clear!
