I am finishing up my DIY save the dates!! I found pictures online that I used for inspiration and used my background in marketing etc.. and made them myself. The print on them I created using a computer program and the mason jar template I downloaded from an online site. Once they were created, I then sent them off to Vistaprint to be printed on cardstock for $16!!
Once I got them back, a couple of my bridesmaids came over to help. We drank a little wine and put them together. I got the twine and magnets from Hobby Lobby for cheap!! I already had a dark pink marker that we used to outline the mason jar shape. I probably have less than $30 total tied up in the save the dates themselves.
I love the mason jar theme and wanted something different for our STD. We are getting married at a beautiful venue that has a 5,000 sq ft barn for a reception area, so these fit perfectly with our theme 🙂

Adorable! And masterfully executed! Please tell me your centerpieces will be mason jars with flowers or candles in them! I love it when everything ties together like that!

@MrsGamerGod: Yes! I have found so many cute ideas on Pinterest for mason jar arrangements. Everyone will be drinking out of mason jars too 🙂

Awww.. those are adorable! I’m a huge mason-jar fan too and will be using them at our wedding. These will set the tone and the vibe perfectly! The twine bow is the perfect touch!
