Hi guys! I’m new here 🙂 Well, I got engaged in December, but it took a while for me and my fiance to come to a decision about where and when we wanted our wedding to be (I hear it’s the hardest decision when planning a wedding… I hope it’s true!). Anyway, we finally decided on next June, so we have plenty of time… But since lots of our guest will be traveling we want to get the save-the-dates out whenever possible.
I’ve seen save-the-date tea towels and absolutely love the idea (we love cooking/food and towels are more creative than magnets, but can still be hung for an easy wedding reminder), but we want to do them ourselves. I’m not all that creative, but I’m thinking all we’d need to do is design an iron-on transfer and use the iron-ons on plain white tea towels. It would probably just include our names, date, location, and wedding website. Simple, right? Or am I wrong?
Does anyone have any idea where the best place is to design a custom iron-on? Or if there’s a simpler/better way to do something like this? I’m open to all kinds of ideas!
Also, I posted this on TheKnot too and am not sure of the etiquette. So, please, someone let me know if it’s considered bad etiquette to post the same question on both websites… I’m still exploring the world of wedding sites and figured it couldn’t hurt to ask both places, but I don’t want to make anyone mad! Thank you so much 🙂

Definitely feel free to post questions all over the place! It’s what we’re here for.
I really don’t know a place to order custom iron-ons, but a quick google search brough up a few places (the last one looks the best to me!)
