Last month, I finished my save-the-date cards while I was at home resting from my concussion so I’m pretty much surprised that these cards didn’t turn out lop-sided because I can barely remember making them!
I’m a DIY bride as well as a kindergarten teacher, so I’m quite crafty! First, I designed my STD on Microsoft Word from my inspiration. Then I printed the STD at home using white cardstock, which two cards can fit on one sheet! Following that, I began cutting the card out then used the Martha Stewart Dry Embossing kit
to emboss the top of my card and the heart around the 21.
For the magnetic clothespin, I bought a bag of fifty clothespin for $1 at Dollarama. I then used my roll of magnets, which I bought from Walmart, and cut them into strips to glue on the back of the clothespin. Lastly, I used fabric that I found at fabricland to make the flowers for the clothespin!
PS If you’d like the template, PM me and I will email it to you 🙂

Did you use something special to cut it out that way? A cri-cut or a template? I love the shape of it. Sorry my, crafty language is not pefect, but I’m trying to learn!

They are seriously awesome!

@RayRayFurious: It was all hand cut. I basically embossed the top and cut the top by following the embossed pattern. For the straight sides, I used a cut desktop trimmer.

You can also place a heart pin on your date or stamp a heart on it, which are alternatives I have seen 🙂
