you bees have been so helpful with everything else so now its time for save the dates…
this is just a quick mock up i did in photoshop.
it would be printed on black card stock.
the big blue line would actually be blue ribbon
and the horribly pasted photo would be an actual photo adhered to the page
and the corners of the entire thing would be rounded (im still trying to figure out how to use photoshop)

i think it looks great – I might just add City, State under the date to give people an idea of where they will be headed, also if you have a website, I would add that at the bottom

@cllyons: Nice Save the Date card I like the your colors. However, how are you going to be able to print on black cardstock?
Most printers only print CMYK. The white comes from the paper. Unless you buy a fifth pantone color. If your printing at home, maybe you should do it all in Photoshop except the ribbon part and print it all on white cardstock. You’ll just used a lot of your black ink. LOL. Good luck!

@bride2be0511: you know, i was thinking about that (with the black card stock) im not sure on the final plan i guess…ill probably end up wasting alot of ink!

You could get something like this printed pretty cheaply online. Check out Vistaprint – if you sign up for their emails, they send you emails with deals for free cards.
