Have any of you created a DIY guest signature picture frame? It seems like it would be easy enough, they are so expensive otherwise to buy. Please let me know if you have and if you could give me directions on how to go about it. Thanks so much!

Do you mean a frame specifically or a framed mat? A framed mat would be pretty easy to DIY. You can just buy a large frame and a mat that fits in it (perhaps make sure the mat has a smooth texture, as it would be easier to sign, i think). Then print out something to put in it (if you’re not framing a picture right away) that maybe says your names and wedding date. I think, as far as the glass from the frame, you should perhaps put that behind the mat, in front of the photo/sign? This way the mat won’t be loose in the frame without the glass in it.

I haven’t made one, but I did price it out and it would have been approximately the same price to buy the materials to make one as it would be to buy one from BB&B (I like theirs) and I ended up with a gift card and they continually put out coupons for $5 off $20 or whatever. I looked at Michael’s though when I was looking at DIYing it.

I actually bought mine on sale at Michael’s for $18. It was 40% off. If its not a sale week just use of of those 40% off coupons they print on the receipt – may be cheaper than buying the materieals.
