You could possibly use it as a big arrangement for your escort card table? And if the other ones are too blue possibly… white spray paint or glitter? Good luck!

@Miss Wallaroo: I’m in your EXACT position. I also am using the blue and brown scheme and bought the sparkly things as well. Haven’t even thought of how to use it. If you come up with ideas please share, and I’ll do the same.

@[email protected]: i’m so glad someone else bought the sparkly monsters! lol
once i figure out what i’m doing i’ll post pics and send you a PM so you can see it 🙂 at this rate though, i might return the blue and stick with the white ones for a giant centerpiece arrangement of some sort

I think you should definitely find a way to use them!
If there is some way you can take them apart and add some of these sparkly monsters to your centerpieces, that’d be cool. Otherwise I like someone else’s idea of making a large arrangement with them — you could make 2 matching ones and place on either side of the head table, or adorn the cake table, gift table, escort table, etc.
What about using parts of them to add into your bouquets?
Can they be taken apart and twisted together to be made into a garland to hang somewhere (head table swag, or somewhere else)?
I think they’ll work well with your brown/blue color scheme but you’ll have to really play around with a lot of stuff. I think you’ll need to add brown to these — find a nice brown ribbon to add to anything/anywhere you use these blue ones to make sure it’s cohesive and doesn’t look too Christmas-y.

I purchased those same things only the ones I have are made with sparkly beads and they are clearish/white. My wedding is in june, however I’m excactly like you in not knowing what I’m going to do with them. My reception venue provides the long tables as well and I’m having the hardest time coming up with some beautiful and classy centerpieces without going over budget. If you decide to use them I would love to know how you plan on incorporating them…keep me updated and good luck!

@jen618: i’ll definitely keep you posted!
oh i like the idea of incorporating them by tearing them apart! i’m making some pomander/kissing balls for our ceremony site, so maybe i can find a way to incorporate them into those??
any ideas on how to possibly do this??

@Miss Wallaroo: If you make the kissing balls using one of those foam floral balls in the center, you could just poke the pieces into it?

Walmart will definitely take them back, even without a receipt. With a receipt, you will get every cent back that you paid for them. Without a receipt, you get back whatever the last price was, or lowest price in the last 90 days (I think)…
** I am constantly changing my mind, and I return a ton of stuff all of the time!!

I returned the blue sparkly monsters!! Walmart took them back and I only short changed myself by a few dollars since I didn’t have a receipt and they lowered the prices even more. I kept the white ones because I’m sure I’ll come up with something to do with them since they’re more versatile. thanks again ladies!
