I would think that if you want your chair covers to be a very specific look/fabric this would be the way to go, but if you’re doing plain white ones I’m not so sure.  It really depends on what type of material you want to purchase and how much you need.  I would imagine as long as you have a sewing machine, this wouldn’t be too difficult.  For regular chair covers, it will probably cost you the same/more to purchase the materials than to just buy the covers.

Yeah, we have the universal ones.. they were $2.12 each + I got 20% off and free shipping.. I’m not sure they could be made cheaper than that considering your time you have to put into them… Mine are satin.
