(Closed) diy vases, can ribbons be too mismatched?

I think because the bottles are so different, you should perhaps try to make one element of the ribbons the same. For example, I would do all lace, or if you are doing lace and tulle, stick to one or two colors. I think there is a bit too much visual anarchy going on

I agree with previous posters. Right now nothing seems to “go.” There should be some unifying something to them, but what that is is up to you. We are doing a mix-and-match set of bud vases on our tables, but about half of them will be painted . . . They will all sit on a white woven round placemat (or something), and are tied together by that. We are doing 7 per table. Will you have these sitting on top of anything?

I agree with PPs–it seems a bit disjointed. Stick with one colour of ribbon, or with one type of ribbon (like all lace, which a PP suggested).
