The main things to think about when making your veil is what type of veil do you want and what type of material do you want to use to make it with. Depending on the type of veil you want to make will determine how hard it will be to make. The more intricate the veil, the more patience you will need. It is also best to make yourself a pattern for the veil, instead of free cutting the fabric. It is also a good idea to make a mock version of your veil to get an idea if it will be long enough and/or sit right. If you are putting embellishments like lace and/or rhinestones/crystals, etc., you will want to lay those out on the veil before you attach them to get an idea of what they will look like. I bought a very plain veil and added some organza flowers to it that I bought on etst.  It was very easy and looks awesome.  I wish I had a picture with me but i dont 🙁
