I’m definitely thinking about it. It just seems silly to me to spend so much on a veil I could easily make. Thanks for the link!!

@mypinkshoes: your veil is beautiful!
@takemyhand: Thank you, i might just have to take you up on that.
I had a look on the course and she teaches you how to make a flower fasinator, a french net veil and a finger tip, elbow and cathedral ilusion veils! oh and a garter belt. From her website you can buy a kit to go along with the course which includes all of the materials ribons butons and flowers to make a sample of everything in the course. With delivery to the uk the kit is over $100 so i think i will have to hang off for a month or two before purchasing it.

@sammyjo2012011: I bought 3 yards of tulle from Fabricland and some combs from the drug store. It was truly easy and quick. The mock up veil I made cost $13 and took about 20 minutes (the hardest part was cutting the circle at the end in a PERFECT circle, which involved some math). I ended up hand beading the edge of a cathedral length veil (120″ long) and that took me close to 40 hrs. That part I would NEVER do again, even though it looks awesome.
