So, I was indecisive on whether I wanted to wear a veil or not. Of course, I came across a gorgeous one that I though was really unique:
The swiss dot veil:
But of course, like all veils, I did not want to pay $300 for the floor length version.
Then I got to work! I googled around to see how to make a veil, and it seemed fairly easy, and a veil like this with a raw edge looked like a piece of cake to make! So I searched etsy for the fabric, found it about 12 bucks a yard, and got 2 yards. Followed some instructions I found online for cutting it and then sewing it to a comb, and wa-la! I was finished! Well, since I have a super simple dress, I decided to take on sewing lace at the bottom as well! Ordered that off etsy too, and here is the finished product 😀
Far away:(well, this pic it wasnt completely finished, but you get it!)
And on me!!
I absolutely cannot wait to wear it! I really hope it stays in tact and one of my friends or my sister wants to wear it in the future! I love it, I think it turned out so good! 🙂 What do you guys think?! It was really easy (time consuming sewing the lace on)!

Hahah Thanks everyone!
@vintagefair: I bought some “good” scissors and it all worked out! I used a plate to guide me for the round edges but then after i sewed on the lace I ended up cutting around it anyway so it didn’t really have to be perfect. I didn’t cut anything else except for the bottom

@Megan10513: OH GOODNESS
I need to do this. I was thinking of making a swiss dot veil too! But making a drop veil?
Not even sure. Do you mind sharing the etsy shop you used to purchase your fabric?
