I have to say I highly recommend the wax seals! At first I had wanted to do the traditional melting of the wax etc but for over 100 invitations it would have been very time consuming. My FH found a website :http://www.nostalgicimpressions.com/Glue_Gun_Letter_Sealing_Wax_s/21.htm

which uses a glue gun for the wax. It worked amazingly well and so much faster. The effect is pretty much the same and best of all there are several colours to choose from. I have attached a few pictures of the invites as well.

Good luck!

hi — I did them for the envelopes of my shower thank you’s — a total disaster — and I am a crafter!! Wax flew everywhere, flaming wax landed on numerous envelopes and then I had to blow them out. I thought it would be great but it wasn’t. Practice ALOT before you do it for real. I sent them all out even if they came out crappy, and wrote a funny little blurb by the wax — my friends were hysterical when they received them. It was the effort, right?
