Completed a DIY project this weekend that I am super excited about!! After seeking out the perfect doors we were ready to build our wedding arch!!
BUT first lets backtrack a moment to door number 2. 🙂 I looked and looked for a second door that I loved, and stumbled across it on craigslist.. I contacted the seller and offered $15 on the door that was listed for $25.. She came back and asked for $20… So naturally after watching many episodes of American Picker, i offer up $17.50 with a smile!
She responded with a giggle and said $15 was good! I told her thanks!!! and the wedding budgets are killer!!
So we were set!! Saturday the Fiance and I went to pick up the door… The couple who were selling it refused to take our money and gave it to us as a wedding gift!! How freaking sweet was that!?
Here is my LOVE!
P.s I got my inspiration from this site, that was posted by another bee..
The decor on the arch was just so I could get an idea!! I will post more pics after the Wedding of it fully together! 🙂

Amazing!!! And so sweet that they gave it to you! I love it when people are just as excited about your wedding as you are 🙂

I have been pleasantly surprised by all the people I have come to know through the planning process.. I feel like I take a little piece of each person along with me!
1 week, 5 days till the wedding! and I couldn’t have gotten this far with much love friendship and the kindness of strangers!

@ms. rice crispy treat:
Aww where they at the end of the isle? Did they “open” them for you??

@kamielynn: Yep – the doors were like 10 feet from the start of the chairs. The doors were closed, I walked up, and then the doors were opened/I walked through 🙂
